Naqi runs entirely on your machine. Your config files never leave your computer. We don't collect, store, or transmit your data — that's the whole point. The only time data leaves your machine is if you explicitly opt-in to AI analysis (Pro tier), and even then it's anonymized before sending.

Yes. Every cleanup action creates a backup first, and you can undo any action from the Undo history. There's also a full Danger Zone if you want to restore an entire previous scan.

Naqi validates every change after applying it. If validation fails (e.g., JSON syntax error), the change is automatically rolled back. Plus, pre-cleanup backups are always available at ~/.naqi/backups/. We've never shipped a breaking change to a valid config.

One device at a time. To move your license to a new machine, deactivate the previous device in Settings > License. No time limit, no restrictions on how often you move it.

A full scan of all 10 AI clients takes 3-5 seconds on a typical machine. Health score calculation adds another 1-2 seconds. No waiting, no indexing, no background processes.
